​A series of comics tackling patriarchy from the point of view of a feminist Arab woman to share a visual narrative of the confrontations women have to go through when a patriarch devours their private and public spaces.

It is an alternative satirical way to confront a culture of misogyny and oppression against women, this culture that taught us, women, to lower our voices and hide our bodies, suppress our sexuality and accept harassment as a consequence of our existence, and taught men to hide their feelings in order to perform “proper masculinity”.

The key event in each story is when an individual acts patriarchal he transforms into a dinosaur as a way to express the absurd presence of such a primal behavior until this day. The purpose is to visually demonstrate terms like: fragile masculinity, toxic masculinity, mansplaining, gaslighting, manspreading, etc.

Since these stories have been lived and experienced by every woman in one way or another, writing these stories is a participatory and interactive process that is achieved through conversation with women to share their stories.
Therefore, "Her Dinosaurs Diary" is a project that engages with the broader current feminist wave in the Arab world and provides a tool for solidarity with Arab and international women and feminists activists.
